Exit

Light and dark are symbiotic, but they are also mutually exclusive. At a time when Hong Kong is experiencing a series of conflicts, divergences and polarization, the artist uses light beam and shadow to highlight the distinct yet coexisting relationship between the two. The artist uses monochromatic colors to focus on the composition; and coarse grains to reinforce the anxiety. The emptiness and stillness are sensational and in contrast to the tension and turmoil happening daily, allowing audiences to live in a parallel time and space. The road ahead may be winding and uncertain, yet there is always light at the end of a tunnel. We shall overcome and find a way out.
