Inter-winded
Through the series “Inter-wined”, the artist delves into the concept of harmony in history by capturing the interplay between a majestic Ficus tree and the surrounding heritage building, The Helena May. The photographs aim to highlight the passage of time and the tree’s inherent age by juxtaposing its close-up shots with the architectural details that have marked the last century. By examining the harmonious relationship between nature and man-made structures, we seek to emphasize the organic forms of the tree and their intricate connection with the architectural elements. “Inter-winded” invites viewers to contemplate the profound interweaving of nature and human history, celebrating the enduring symbiosis between the living and the constructed.
