Bio & Resume

Maria Ying-May Cheung is a Hong Kong-born artist. In 2022, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art with distinction from RMIT University, Australia, receiving the Dean's List Award and the 1a Space Award. She completed her Higher Diploma in Fine Arts at the Hong Kong Art School in 2020, where she was honored with the Outstanding Artwork Award and the Academic Performance Award, along with the Outstanding Performance Scholarship from the Hong Kong Education Bureau.

Maria has actively engaged in the art field since her studies, creating art and participating in exhibitions while holding various roles, including photo festival director, exhibition project manager, and high school photography tutor.
